Wow, they learn fast!
Panel to Help Set Process for Constitution (washingtonpost.com): " Iraq's U.S.-appointed Governing Council today named a 25-member committee that is to propose a way to select the people who will draft the country's new constitution."

So the governing council (a committee that we appointed) has named a committee (that they appointed) to prospose a way to select a committee to draft a constitution. Wow. Who'd have thought they'd have such a sophisticated functioning democracy so quickly! And based on Republican "small government" principles, at that!

I think Jay Leno pegged it: why don't we just give them our Constitution? It worked pretty well for two hundred years, and it's not like we're using it now or anything.
