A different poll question

I don't think I've seen this one asked in other recent polls. An ABC/WaPo poll just released asked whether respondents thought most Americans were better off, worse off, or about the same financially since Bush became President. The results should cost Karl Rove a few hours' sleep: Better off: 9%
Worse off: 52%
Same: 38%.

Remember, this isn't "are you better off than you were four years ago," it's whether you think most Americans are better off.
