A 49 year old woman punched an elderly woman in the mouth at a restaurant. The elderly woman, who was deaf, entered a Italian buffet restaurant with her Sheltie, a hearing ear dog who had his cape on. The jerk punched the older woman because she said the dog "disgusted her." The police arrested her and she has been charged with elderly abuse.

Please be aware that there are many types of assistance dogs, not just seeing eye dogs. They really help people who would have a much more difficult time without them, and they have a legal right to be anywhere the people are.
