I'm confused.
Maybe one of you smart readers can explain this Jim Baker deal to me. Is he
- ...a private citizen being sent abroad to negotiate US foreign policy while on the payroll of the Saudis, or
- ...a US government official being sent abroad to negotiate US foreign policy while on the payroll of the Saudis?
Either way, it doesn't sound like a terribly good idea.
